What is a branding strategy?
A branding strategy is a plan for the systematic development of a brand in order to meet business objectives. the brand strategy sets out the plan for shaping those perceptions through different forms of expression both visual and verbal. A successful branding strategy encompasses the brand’s mission, its promises to its customers, and how these are communicated.
There are 9 step branding strategy. They are group into 3 sections Brand core, Brand positioning and brand personal
- Brand purpose – Brand purpose is a higher order reason for a brand to exist, other than just making a profit. Our goal is to give people a purpose, a cause to champion, or a reason to believe so that they feel inspired to come to work or to buy from us.
Brand vision – This is to Influence long-term business decisions to ensure that your brand is navigated towards the right direction. the vision needs to be big enough that both the challenge and possibility of achieving it are audacious and intimidating. - Brand values – You values stand at the very core of your brand. They’re basically the compass that points to the true North of your business success. And being clear on your values, just like the other elements of your brand core, will guide communication and decision-making so that your brand remains consistent.
- Brand positioning – the importance of each element of positioning can’t be underestimated, because each one gives us a clear understanding of your competitive edge. The positioning is all about perception. positioning starts with a product or service, but positioning it’s not what you do to a product.
- Target audience – we have to understand your audience well, so that you can address their problems and needs with relevant solutions. By noticing their day-to-day activities to lifestyle, preferences, and behavioral patterns, we are able to get some leads about their daily needs.
- Market research – to survive the deadly competition we must choose to stand for something instead of just saying “You can choose anyone, and we’re anyone.”
- Awareness goal – we can achieve this goal by marketing to bring awareness. It is very essential for people to discover the company. moreover, awareness goals would be by website, blog, stationery, business cards, social media, email marketing, trade shows etc.
- Brand personality – it totally focusses on making an employ with your audience. Because People expect brands to have a personality, so that they actually feel like they’re engaging with a person, when they’re really engaging with the brand.
- Brand voice – Tone of Voice is essentially, an extension of your personality. The tone and personality should be matching perfectly otherwise it would be considered as a negative marking to the company.
- Brand tagline – the tagline is the base for audience to remember the company. The tagline is totally for external purpose
